For the second volume of my beauty brand wishlist, I somehow managed to narrow it down to Byredo, Tata Harper, Saturday Skin, and Charlotte Tilbury. Just like every other "influencer" I'm currently on the skincare bandwagon. My dream #topshelfie sports rows of green bottles covered in bright yellow lettering. The luxury of high-end skincare that is authentically natural is summed up in the Tata Harper brand. As for Saturday Skin, I'm not going to say that it isn't giving me Glossier vibes, but there is something just a little bit more luxurious and science-y about Saturday Skin's approach to skincare. which makes me want to see what the hype is all about.
Byredo, on the other hand, is not quite the millennial mainstay. I've seen Byredo prominently placed on the vanities of several bloggers and Instagram girls, but i find it hard to believe that a $230 bottle of perfume is targeted at my fellow millennials. Nonetheless, I want a piece of the luxury and not to mention that insane cult following Gypsy Water (one of Byredo's signature fragrances) has. Charlotte Tilbury speaks for itself. Despite the shift towards skincare, everyone has been raving about Charlotte Tilbury makeup. Once I found out that Charlotte Tilbury herself was a famed makeup artist and has such a passion for the artisty of makeup I decided that shelling out a few extra bucks for a CT bronzer would be worth it... one day.
