What We're Watching

It is practically impossible for me to watch a single season of any show from premiere to finale, no matter  how much I love the show. It's not that I'm not a dedicated fan (I'm just as obsessed and over-involved with the lives of each character and the actors that play them) or that I haven't found any good shows to watch. It really just boils down to the fact that the physical act of sitting on a couch and staring at a TV bores me. Luckily more and more shows are making their episodes available online and a lot of networks are premiering new shows this summer for me to obsess over. Here's a quick list of a few of the TV shows that'll be running the circuit this summer and will likely appear on the screens of the televisions in my home. Don't worry, Pretty Little Liars is definitely not on the list (neither is the Bachelor/Bachelorette, so any of you die hard fans feel free to exit out now ;)), but there is a good mix of comedy, drama, and reality so there's a little something for everyone.

Suits (USA Network): Catch up on seasons 1-4 on Amazon Prime and watch the summer premiere of Season 5 on June 24 at 9/8c

Rich Kids of Beverly Hills (E!): Season 3 has already started, but tune in to the rest of the season on Sundays at 10/9c and don't forget to live tweet using the hashtag #RichKids!

Unreal (Lifetime): A highly advertised, scripted spoof of the Bachelor/Bachorlette airs Mondays at 10/9c and promises to be everything your reality TV and satirical videography dreams are made of.

Odd Mom Out (Bravo): A new, scripted comedy series by Bravo Network that highlights the cliches of Upper East Side moms through the life of the"odd mom out" who's low key and actually eats carbs. *gasp* New episodes premiere Mondays starting June 8 at 10/9c

The Fosters (ABC Family): *I try to avoid ABC Family shows as much as possible, but The Fosters has a depth to it that many of its other shows lack making it worth the watch, in my opinion, even if you want to hurl the remote at the TV out of frustration every now and then* June 8 at 8/7c

Astronaut Wives Club (ABC): A period drama based on the wives of those who were at the height of the hype during the Space Race premieres June 18 at 8/7c

Orange Is The New Black (Netflix): Call in sick and stream all of Season 3 straight from Netflix on June 12. The office will understand: OITNB's season 3 release is a priority and warrants a day off.  Let the binge watching begin!
