Since when does the world need another woman's magazine? Well, the answer is now. Popular TV is the brand new "anti-social network" that mixes the indie ambience of Nylon Magazine with the informative "Hey, here's what's up in the fashion-y world" of fashion news site Fashionista.com with a pinch of millennial/teen modernness that Teen Vogue and Seventeen bring to the table. Just a couple of months off its launch earlier this year, the newest anti-social network project is now at a newsstand near you. Popular Magazine boasts a former Nylon editor-in-chief (probably why it's full of sooo much Nylon-esque awesomeness) and former Teen Vogue, Vogue, and Elle editors. It technically is geared towards teens and young adults ages 16-24, but my guess is that it'll pretty much be the best thing that ever happened to any female under the age of 45 who has ever thought "Man, I wish all of my favorite fashion magazines and websites were piled into one great publication!"
Sofia Richie is the inaugural cover girl and the issue will be available on news stands Friday. If you'll be buying a copy let me know in the comments so we can talk about it in all its glory (or its disappointment if that happens to be the case) and if not let me know why... 'Cause what's not to love??
