Samantha Jones may not be up to any new tricks, but she's been in tons of new closets ever since Clashist released its Samantha Jones Powersuit Tee. Clashist should have been on my radar a long time ago with its frequent mentions in Nylon Magazine. The Clashist website features designs of Ryan Gosling, Snoop Dogg, Lena Dunham (also reeaally popular as of late), and James Franco among others in doodles, cutouts, and full body snapshots slapped across a variety of crew neck tees. Each tee shirt design pays homage to Hollywood greats like the ever-so-wise Samantha Jones on Sex and The City. But if you're not so into having a celebrity branded across your chest on a pastel piece of cloth (though, I don't know why you wouldn't), I suggest you check out the "textured" tees Clashist has too offer. The floral/plaid/polka dotted top is my favorite from the "textured" collection, but the "Oil Slick" design that looks exactly like the bubbles I used to blow in my backyard when they would shine in the sunlight and the "Digi-Crumpled" design that looks as if the tee shirt itself is a crumpled piece of copy paper are also contenders all-time best tees by Clashist.
However, don't be mislead. Clashist also sells a handful of skirts, leggings, socks, sweatshirts, totes, and swimwear in a select number of the designs mentioned above. The masterminds behind the Clashist brand have taken it upon themselves to grace us with these 'textured' patterns and celebrity prints on almost everything we use to cover out bodies. With the exception of undergarments, that is. Nonetheless, at $55 a pop you have an important decision to make: should you or should you not invest in Samantha Jones, Ryan Gosling, Snoop Dogg, Lena Dunham, and James Franco and buy one of Clashist's trending tees?
