I was into crop tops for a very short period of time a few years ago. The trend has lasted longer than I imagined it would and has been reinvented in so many ways I wish I could pull it off. I'm currently loving the look of cropped tops matched exactly with skirts and shorts worn on bottom to create the semi-illusion of a one piece outfit. It also seems to be Kim Kardashian's current obsession because she's been seen sporting the trend more than a dozen times. She tends to go the more DIY route and cut an originally slim fitting dress into two pieces to create a cropped top (which on her we can refer to as a krop top) and a body con skirt. Or so she claims. I don't think cutting a $1,000 dress across the middle to create two wearable pieces is quite that easy and I don't see why she wouldn't just buy a two piece set originally. But hey, it's Kim. I have a special bond with all of the Kardashian/Jenner girls's style. Since I was a little girl watching season 3 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians I've admired their style and dreamed of wearing outfits like theirs. Now Topshop, H&M, and Forever21 have just what they're wearing. Each store has their own version of the two piece matching suit that, with the right accessories, you can style according to Kim Kardashian's taste. And even if they're all sold out of two piece outfits you can just as easily buy a dress and cut it in half to mimic the ones no longer in stock. It's as easy as One... Two...
