I haven't watched all of the movies and tv shows nominated for Golden Globes (kudos to anyone who has!), therefore all of my opinions regarding nominees are ridiculously biased. I am pulling for American Horror Story: Coven, Orange is the New Black, The Big Bang Theory, and Modern Family in each of their categories even though, in most cases, I haven't watched any of the other shows they are up against. Awards Shows are one of they few times where I am completely content with having an unfair opinion.
In reality, the Golden Globes are based on the subjective and very likely biased opinions of a hand-full of media personnel. There is no point system or definite scoring guide that determines who gets nominated or who wins each award. In fact, the winners are partially determined by who actually attends the event and who does not. Kind of messed up, right? Regardless, I'll be tuning in Sunday night for the Red Carpet and the Awards Show hoping the hand-full of media personnel have the same ridiculously biased opinions as I do.
